- For staff to acknowledge and nurture the uniqueness and potential of each child.
- For staff to provide a warm and secure environment, which is responsive to childrens needs and interests and encourage children to contribute and initiate self play.
- For staff to plan and implement children’s programs which are developmentally appropriate and responsive to individual needs.

- For staff to ensure that every child is allowed the same rights and opportunities regardless of gender, race, religion, ability or culture.
For Families:
- For staff to encourage families to provide information regarding their child so that we can care for them appropriate to their individual needs.
- For staff to develop positive relationships based on trust and open communication by respecting families individual needs and values.
- For staff to respect family privacy and maintain confidentiality.
- For staff to provide an atmosphere which is welcoming and comforting to families and children.
